President's Message

Chapter President - 2024/25

I am deeply honored and excited to take on the role of Chapter President for the ASHRAE BC Chapter. My journey with ASHRAE began as a student member, fresh out of school and eager to learn. Attending our chapter's dinner meetings was a turning point for me—not only did they provide a wealth of knowledge and networking opportunities, but they also led me to my first job in the industry. The impact of those early connections motivated me to join the board, to give back to the community that helped launch my career and to inspire others who are just beginning their journey.

As I take on this role I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our past presidents and all our current board members for their dedication and support. Special thanks go out to our governors Norm Grusnik, Peter Sung, Les Pereira and Eric Bradley, whose efforts and commitment have strengthened our chapter’s foundation and enabled us to pursue impactful initiatives. Their leadership and guidance set a standard I aim to uphold, and I am grateful to be part of a team so deeply committed to the success and growth of our chapter.

In the year ahead, I look forward to working alongside each of you to foster an inclusive and vibrant chapter that supports professional development, innovative discussions, and networking opportunities. Let’s continue to build on the legacy of ASHRAE BC, encouraging new ideas and collaboration among all members. Thank you for your continued commitment and involvement.
